A Great Day TWO!!!

Hi everyone!

I hope you had a good Friday and that you remembered to dress down! This morning we heard a FABULOUS Indian speaker named Tarun J. Tejpal who taught us that if we have love and laughter in our lives we are unstoppable! So, be sure to laugh a lot and spread as much love around as possible!

We also went to a wonderful workshop given by The Lakeside School in Washington state. I heard them present last year in Seattle, and they were so great I went back again this year for their new presentation. Mrs. Euwer, Mr. Corvino, Mr. Buckley and Mr. Conard all went with me and we learned A LOT!!!

I also met a great teacher who is a reading specialist like Mrs. Von Feldt. She teaches at Far Hills Country Day School where I will go to visit next Friday!

Mrs. Euwer and I are in charge of the upper school students who are here. We are going to pick them up in just about 20 minutes and help them get ready for the dinner and dance they are going to tonight. Then, we will go to a banquet and hear another speaker named Marcus Mabry. He graduated from The Lawrenceville School in NJ. I can't wait to hear him speak, because I read his book a long time ago.

So, we are off... we'll blog again later, if we have time! Penguey said to tell the whole class that he said Hello!!!
